PACKAGING DESIGNER

Product Graphic Designer

Our Art Department is looking for a talented product designer to join our creative team. We are looking for someone who is highly self-motivated, has a great personality and a passion for creative design in multiple categories. This designer will work closely with the director and sales team to create unique and trendy tabletop accessories, gift sets, packaging, and other products for our clients. Previous full time experience required.

Tasks/responsibilities:

Ability to conceptualize, design, and execute trendy product collections following client style guides
Create product rendering in Illustrator
Photoshop skills
Strong command and knowledge of typography
Produce factory ready final art files for production
Ability to create physical mock ups

Qualifications:

BFA in graphic design or related field
1-5 years full time Graphic Design Experience
Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite for Mac: Photoshop and Illustrator
Must have portfolio and proven experience in product design
Strong attention to detail
Strong time management skills to meet strict deadlines
Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
Ability to work well under direction and also on independent projects
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong organizational skills
Strong knowledge of the home fashion and gift accessories market
Ability to work in fast paced environment, all while maintaining an enthusiastic and positive attitude
Hand drawing, painting, and illustration skills a plus

Adobe Creative suite: 1 year
