ASSOCIATE CREATIVE DIRECTOR

YOUR ROLE

Legacy Marketing is seeking strong savvy, yet flexible leader with an entrepreneurial spirit and proven record of managing both people and projects to play a significant role in evolving the agency’s creative direction and product.  

 

This role is based out of our Chicago HQ and reports to the EVP, Creative and Strategy.

RESPONSIBILITES

  • Oversee the development of creative concepts, programs and elements for current clients and new business opportunities
  • Manage and develop collateral, POS, premiums, set designs, video, presentations, digital, applications, etc
  • Develop, motivate and lead creative team while providing creative direction and inspiration to the agency at large
  • Conceptualize, present and develop strategic concepts for highly effective experiential and digital marketing programs
  • Build, manage and evaluate vendor relationships to ensure appropriate service level and cost controls
  • Develop and manage productive relationships with client service, digital and other teams across the agency; facilitate collaboration
  • Manage the cost and effectiveness of projects; budget tracking, workflow, etc.
  • Strategize and contribute to agency growth and new business development process, presentations and proposals
  • Maintain high level of adaptability and flexibility to quickly respond to changing client demands

 

 

EXPERIENCE, QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

·      Minimum 7 years of relevant marketing and creative experience managing a team or department

·      Big idea, out of the box thinker

·      Understanding of the experiential/live space ability to concept and create dimensional experiences

·      Understanding of emerging media, technology and other applicable marketing platforms

·      Earns confidence and trust of clients and account teams

·      Solution oriented, problem solving mentality and approach to challenges

·      Expert knowledge of the creative concepting and development process, including workflow management

·      Familiar with latest software and other relevant tools

·      Highly motivated multi-tasker, able to work well across several departments under tight deadlines

·      Well-rounded, broad marketing experience, ie. Experiential/event promotional digital, shopper, direct, etc.

·      Culturally astute and aware of trends including nightlife, music, technology, etc.

·      Outstanding oral and written communication skills.

·      Strong interpersonal, motivational and mentoring skills

·      Ability to identify and create brand-building opportunities for agency clients

·      Strong network of vendors and freelancers

·      Bachelor’s degree required
