Product Designer

Product Designer with Interest in Healthcare with Experience in developing chatbots and/or friendly designs around using and visualizing data

You must be able to work in a North American time zone. No exceptions! While some of the engineers are located outside the US, most of the team works in the US.

While English does not need to be your native language (over half the team was born outside the US, you should be fluent in both written and spoken English and comfortable on zoom video explaining your ideas and concepts. Communication is key to being able to work effectively together and English is our common tongue.)

The position: You will be on a team supporting and extending our knowledge automation platform. We are 100% remote. You will work with a highly creative, diverse, and forward-thinking team of scientists, engineers, data scientists, and pharma subject matter experts. You will also be involved with weekly customer deliverables, as we already have an active and growing customer base. You are comfortable defining and making recommendations. You are a deeply skilled problem solver and help support other team members.

Requirements: You have designed, and built systems visualizing data using chat or social workflows. You are an excellent communicator and enjoy working with a (mostly) very seasoned team to collaborate within the requirements and design process to come up with a near-term and mid-term solution. You can move fast when required but try to spend time planning when it's not an immediate deliverable. You enjoy using advanced design tools to tools to demonstrate your designs.

Expertise in:

Design both visual and UX

Interacting with data

Chatbot interface for our advanced communication AI

The team:

You will be working alongside other software engineers, data scientists, ML developers, and subject matter experts who have developed a question and answer analytics platform used in the biopharma industry.

You will be actively engaging with the different individuals collaboratively. We only hire individuals, not outsource teams. Thanks!

Friendly nature - we like solving problems from a positive, open-minded perspective. We are passionate and collaborative and hope you are too. We are happy nerds! Hopefully, you are a happy design nerd!

We are looking for someone long-term who can work 20-40 hours a week. You can choose from any number of positions, but you are looking for the right, meaningful, rewarding job with a great team to collaborate with. Since so much of our communication is on Slack or via video chats, we require excellent, friendly written and oral communication skills. We hire people who enjoy learning from others and who are comfortable sharing their knowledge with their teammates. You can work 100% remotely. You would like the silicon valley startup experience without having to move to CA/SF/SV. But if you're in the SF Bay Area already, that's perfectly OK. :)
