Biography
Jason Shimp been with the CSP in Durango, Fort Collins, and Steamboat Springs for eleven years. In 2016, he was promoted to corporal with the Steamboat Springs CSP.
Jason is a Field Training Officer and a DRE. He teaches SFSTs, DTAC, and Partners In Lifelong Learning And Readiness (PILLAR). He works with several Northwest Colorado schools to implement PILLAR.
Jason studied architecture at Drury University in Springfield, Missouri, before joining the police. Jason Shimp worked as an architect for 13 years on 27 projects, including residential, commercial, and mixed-use buildings. Jason is a LEED Accredited Professional (LEED AP) who passed the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards in 2005.
