Aishwarya Iyer

I'm a filmmaker by profession who wishes to be at the intersection of all the arts. I chose film as a medium because I believed that it was where I could find that nexus. But slowly, as I started drowning myself in the visual arts, I realised that the textures of the moving image that we know of today is but a drop in the ocean. My interest and fine art and digital illustrations help me reimagine ways in which ideas and movements can be framed. Just like paintings and fine art invigorated forms like photography and cinematography, my drawings reinforce my interest in the audio-visual form.
