Commented on iOS App Animation Flow

Honestly i think animations like these, always should have some variation or degree of easing.
Its only natural for us that moving stuff in our physical world ease in/out. Therefor an animation (here a sidemenu moving in) with a linear speed from start to stop can look slightly undynamic and unnatural.
With that said, easing and bouncing can easily be damaging as well. Too much of it can cause the animation to take too long or even worse; take the attention from the user.
The goal is somewhat in general to find the perfect sweat spot, where easing or even bouncing effects aren't directly noticeable, only on a subconscious level and hereby allowing these effects to improve the user experience and the overall feel.
