Rewrote "Pinot Gris" and scanned in the paper sample (FassonĀ® Tree-Free) to get a better idea of what the final product might look like. On the left is a partial view of the back label. View the whole thing here.

LOVE it! Stands well above most Michigan wine labels... actually, well above most wines found in grocery stores too. Very cool how the name feels like a hand painted store sign.

One suggestion: on the back label, have the edge of the swoosh a bit more left so it looks in line with the left edge.
Again, love the label. Do you sell in SE Mich?

I would probably buy that bottle without a 2nd thought. Nice work!

I would buy it just for the label. Excellent work!

Thanks all! Since the majority of people buy wine on label alone, designing something that will grab a wandering eye seems to be half the battle (or more). So, that's the goal here: large, handwritten letters that are unique to us.

Colleen: We do distribute throughout the state and sell directly on our website. Feel free to contact me directly at eric@fortyfivenorth.com and I can try to find some stores near you.
