Did you know louisville has an international film festival? this is the logo for the organization that hosts it, I have also been working on the identity for the festival itself.
The fleur de lis is the symbol of our city, because we where named in honor of king louis and the help the french gave in the revolutionary war. I combined the fleur de lis with the look of film coming off a projector, the circular background for it is a full film canister in silhouette.
The type was hand drawn and completely original.
