   Decided today that I'm going to learn a "real" 3-D app. (Been rendering all kinds of isometric / 3-d-ish things like this in Photoshop.) Thinking about Cinema 4D. Are any others good?

   @kellianderson I’m partial to Blender (http://blender.org), but I don’t do enough 3D to warrant spending money on it. If 3D work volume increased, though, I’d look into modo (http://www.luxology.com).
