Its lovely. Personally I cant recall whether the concept has being used elsewhere before. Judging by predictions, it might have been, but its so hard to check it today..
@Sjors Snoeren@Bart Ebbekink@Joost Vos Nope, not for Veronica. I do understand your connection with it though. However, most people don't know Veronica, plus they don't do PR. ;)
@Lukas Kokoska Thanks mate, you were right. Not too similar though, I think it has a right to exist on its own.
@Jack Bingham You can be a logo designer if you really try. :) Some people did indeed suggest that (such as @Alexandre Naud) and I did indeed make one like that. However, I was afraid that the idea would be less obvious to the client. I have attached it.
Thanks @Floris Voorveld & @Dan Beltechi. I had not seen those before, but I had this uncanny feeling that it could have been done before. However, having looked at the examples, I think this one is unique enough to have a right to excise. Right?
Yeah, I didn't think those two were remotely close. The mark is great, and everything we make is similar to something somewhere that someone might have done.
And I agree with @Jack Bingham on the diagonal stroke termination.

Working on a mark for a PR/Communication firm.
What do you see? :)
Also, has this been done before?
Let me know your thoughts!

Not bad, is it for Veronica? Because that is what this reminded me to.

Looks very nice @Jord Riekwel, but the concept of an apostrophe replacing a diagonal stroke has indeed been done before

I had the same feeling as @Sjors Snoeren I thought you were working on a new logo for Veronica.

For comparison, me and probably also @Bart Ebbekink thought of this "veronica" logo: http://bit.ly/16znUFQ

Don't see anything similar, and don't see any of these similar to this, or yours similar to them.

I've see it done with other letters, or combinations of letter that form one instead. Can't recall a "V" though.

If those two samples are closest to your design, then you have nothing to worry about. Just don't do monogram in a circle. :)

I'm thinking that it's too close to that voices of youth logo. But I see the V, and apostrophe/comma.
