First logo concept logo for magnises, a financial firm.
Typeface: to better communicate effectiveness, modernity and simplicity I decided to adopt a grotesque sans-serif typeface and give it a light gray shade both for white and dark backgrounds. For the same reasons I set it in light weight and all lowercase. This is also to compensate the complexity of the brand mark. In the bright version of the logo the central square is blue because of its meaning (confidence, stability, trust, corporate).
Symbol: apparently a cliché, I opted for a "revolving" symbol to better commuicate fastness, focus and forward thinking. All squares have rounded corners like the letterforms to better fit the design. The middle one have instead angled corners because squares usually convey a sense of stability and trust as well as the color blue.
Any feedback is more than wellcome!

I really like the type - the symbol instead is too much similar to one designed by @Graham Smith to be used. Sorry I didn't linked to it directly, can't find it anymore
