The university I study currently has a horrible educational system called OASE, used to subscribe to courses and check your grades etc. Hence I decided to create a frontend of my own (codenamed OaseRebellion) to show that a more intuitive interface does actually matter. In a few months I managed to get in touch with the university and I'm now collaborating with the ICT people to improve the current OASE version.

That's such a great story! Glad you're working that out with them. It's never fun to be forced to use ugly software as a designer. I remember having to use this downright *butt ugly* corporate timesheet software a few years back. So glad those days are past.
