   Switching gears for a bit and trying my hand at painting a self portrait with dramatic lighting (as a barbarian of course) :) Totally motivated by reading "A Storm of Swords" haha. Blocking in tones and rough colors right now and hoping to wrap this up sometime soon. It's been a while since I've attempted to approach any kind of realism. Definitely a challenge but fun!

2. Barbarian Portrait Finished this up this morning. This piece was waaaaay out of my comfort zone. A real learning experience for sure. Had a lot of fun working on it though.
