I wasn't happy with the single landing page style, so I redesigned and coded my portfolio site. I think I like it and going to keep for at least the rest of year and complete each section at my free times.
You can have a look at the website ☞ oykun.com, read the first journal post and see the Photoshop version at the attachment.
Well, more to come soon and feedbacks are most welcome...
and yes I took a photo of my screen.
Btw, I tweet things over at @oykun

PT Serif isn't loading in here for me. All Times New Romany.
This is lovely. Very nice touch on the top left profile icon hover state.
Hey @Oykun. Really like it. I started a pretty similar approach a while ago.
You should retina optimize it. ;)
Beautiful Oykun. Read the blog article and got so motivated to code my portfolio.
@Glenn Hitchcock I will give it a look. Thanks.
@Cai Davies @Avinash Tripathi thanks folks.

very nice Oykun, I like it ;)
Looking good! Also just getting Times, and the hover gif doesn't show up for me in chrome. Looking great though! Nice work.
@Jonathan Ogden I know there are lots of bugs. I just didnt want to keep delaying the launch. I'm going to fix them along with content. Thanks!
Merhaba! Masala! :D
@Jonathan Ogden @Glenn Hitchcock How does the font look now? I edited some codes. Thanks!
clean work dude! :)
@Oykun Working now - lovely stuff.
@Glenn Hitchcock awesome, thanks!
@Oykun perfect. Good job!
@Jonathan Ogden Thanks mate! I appreciate the note!
Nice one but i would use hgroup for grouping h tags in your"about teaser" section.
Forget using a div to clear, you should apply a compass clearfix instead of using a semantic div to clear what is so 90's.
Try to not use "transition all" it takes much ressources by the browser than you need just to animate a background ;) and i would not use fixed with and height for creating your differents shapes and forms you would have a much better control of your inside text by using equal padding ;)
Otherwise, that a good design as usual Oykun
@Gauthier Eloy thanks for the tips mate! I will definitely look into them! Coding is not my strongest suit for past year :) Still doing some stuff in old style I guess...
