Make the top nav links a bit darker and perhaps bold?
I would also suggest to make the headlines a bit darker, not #000 but a bit darker as well as the body text.
@Charlie Waite this is so soft, the colors are really working so great here, its creating a soft feeling to the overall page and very pleasing to the eye. The contrast ratio can be a just a lil bit on the higher side, i do understand that this shot is from a photoshop, which sucks @ anti-aliasing the text compared to the browsers, but i think a bit of contrast would not bother me.
Also about the button in the top band saying Try it, maybe for me its kind of lost with the big image and other content which is quite important than the try it button itself, but i would love to see that button in shades of darker grey you are using.
@Charlie Waite I'm really not fan of that gradient on header part, still looks so cheap, what about to try do header white? with green logo? also that navigation little bothers me, what about to do her all capital? Text on slider part is really small for me and just lie there, without any play behind. Under slider menu is completely mess and boring for me, looks like some quick designed thing just put together, align is wrong, looking really cheap :)
Don't think I'm hate this, but I really enjoy your works, but this one is little cheap :)
P.S.: What about green overlay on slider part? (white nav option)
- The button "try it for free" in the header is completely out of style. Suggestion: Remove both borders, keep the background colour, and add a 2px border in white or light grey.
- "Welcome to Bamboo HR". This needs more focus. Maybe increasing the type size?
- Move 1px up the text in the 5 button section switcher (our story, etc...).
- Bellow "who we are", spacement looks inconsistent. Line height in this section is also inconsistent to what you have in other places such as the text bellow "The Bamboo HR" heading.

Early stages fo the About Us page for BambooHR, and yes I know the text is hard to read on the photo =) and the stats are not accurate.

This is lovely as usual @Charlie Waite. Not sure if I'm diggin' that dark stroke on the 'Try it Free' button. Maybe make it a little lighter?

I understand the reason behind the hero image, but would love to see some green luscious bamboo here...or somewhere ;) Overall very clean and pretty!

Lack of contrast. Hard to read.

The Try it button looks like its from different website, does not fit into design for me with that style.

Looks great. A few points:

Just love it, that smooth gradient in the header flows so well. Overall, the IA and design is on point! Great job.
