This is a sliding tab bar I did for a recent client, I know that the tab bar droped behind in popularity for the sliding menus lately but I still get clients asking for them.
The problem that I have with tab bars is that they are limited to 4-5 tabs and eat up a lot of screen size, with this approach I tried to solve the seccond problem.
It looks smooth and I love the colors. I think you could bring the sides in at an angle to look like it's flipping a box instead of just scaling the icons. It would give the illusion of a 3d space a little bit more.
@Gijs Rogé I have a color palette library that I've buildt over time.
@Ryan ♗ the drag handler is close to the screen edge because the bounding box for the action is very small and in proximity to the screen edge, similar to the native notification center screen that pulls down from the status bar.

Nice concept virgil !

Very clever, i prefer it from the left hidden nav. Is it implemented on an app though?

Smart idea! Maybe this concept will catch on as it would really help on devices that already are limited in ' screen-real-estate ' / screen size.

Tare ca de obicei, @Virgil Pana.
Insă, mi se pare puțin cam ciudat icon-ul de drag atât de jos. L-ai poziționat acolo ca să fie mai intuitiv?
