    I thought it'll be a cool experience if text didn't appear directly on the image but rather bellow and a blurred background to fade out the distraction so your eyes can focus on the photo itself. Obviously i do not have the data to back that this approach is the best experience. Twitter have an exceptional group of talented designers who are more equipped to make the call. enjoy this shoot :)

    Compare it to the see the current viewer ... thoughts ?

    Absolutely! I find the current viewer so bizarre how it's boxed in when you're viewing the large view.

    The blurred background is a cool idea, but how would you do that in HTML/CSS?

    Yeah I agree, the current overlay is really obtrusive. But in mobile/tablet having the option to view a full screen photo without the description is nice.
