    Quick Illustrator question... how did you achieve the angled lines on the outside rim of the logo badge? I am working on a similar badge look and I can't get my blend working like that in Illustrator. Thanks!!

    @John Basically I used the Illustrator's "Replace Spine" feature. Mordy Golding has a good breakdown of the techniques in his Distribute Art Around a Path video.

    @Luke I used a technique I wrote about a couple years ago in the post Create A Wood Grain Texture.
