First time experimenting with illustration in Sketch. Not totally stoked on the outcome, but it was just a learning exercise. I think the app will be a lot better for UI design than drawing.

    This came out nice.

What was your overall impression of Sketch? I played around in it briefly yesterday but haven't had a chance to go in-depth.

Thanks, Todd. Still forming my overall impression of Sketch, but I've got high hopes for using it long-term. I see a lot of power in the multi-page and infinite canvas features. Especially for more minimal UI design, I think using it could be a real treat — especially saving on Creative Cloud subscriptions, and using 1 app instead of two (PS/AI).

Good point about saving money. It's great how you don't really need the CS suite anymore. Use Sketch, Pixelmator and Coda and you are designing websites and interfaces for less that $200

The big issue I can see with Sketch right now (besides the obvious learning curve) is working with the other designers at my job. Photoshop and Illustrator are so ingrained.

I played with Sketch some more and the multi-page and export features really are very handy.
