    LOVE THIS. my father and grandfather both made stick & tissue planes like this and I've learned too. Doing a lasercut project at the moment myself with bass wood - what type of dye is used in your coloring process?

    this is s a process that I perfected over 8 years of testing.
    The ink is dye sublimation ink which when heated turns into coloured gas and permeates the substrate creating embeded colour in the wood grain.
