Gender and pronouns picker
Example of a gender and pronouns selector.
It lets the user write their gender and pronouns themselves, rather than presenting them with the typical "male", "female", "other" radio buttons.
As soon as the user starts typing, the form shows the most frequently used choices (or alternatively, a predefined list of suggestions) to pick from that match the text.
I started designing a few different options after being tired of always having to pick "other", "custom" or "rather not say" as my gender on forms.
This is the first option, and I'm making several different versions and solutions as part of a larger project and blog post.
