Diving in to the new SamExhibit marketing page design then on to the UI. The darker concept was the first, and just started the white one about an hour ago.
Clearly, rough ;) But wanted to share. Lots of things to work out and try but for the market that we're trying to go for the white seems a bit more appropriate (leaning towards the white.) Will keep posting more!
Thoughts/feedback even know its early, is appreciated!
I personally like the contrast and sharp-ness with the darker one. The white feels washed out. You could try not fading out the laptop maybe and it wouldn't feel as foggy?
I'm with @Shayne Ingham. The white version is too washed out. I like the contrast used on the dark one. It's hard to see the footer but I see that you have opportunities to finesse that a bit.
@Juliano Moreira Dasilva@Shayne Ingham I am going to play with that a bit more tonight to refine it! I think the one reason I like the lighter is because the market they are going after. Its more professional based photographers compared to a flickr type of market. But still early in the design :)
Cleaned up the lighter concept that I posted last night! Feel much better about it still some areas to brush up related to: contrast, photos, UI shots (coming after the marketing design).
Feedback is welcome as always!
Will post some more refined bits tomorrow night. Pricing needs some lovin' too.

@Shayne Ingham Thanks! Ill try that for sure. Maybe there is a happy median between the 2 versions. Appreciate it.
