Artboard #1 of a comprehensive app stylesheet for Carbonmade's new internal HQ. A bit cluttered since it's covering multiple interaction points. Just imagine 4 frantic mice clicking / dragging peeps.
@James Barnes really loving the colors, the light and airy feeling of all of it. The only thing that felt a bit out of place were the icons on the dark background — for some reason they feel really large.
@Rogie - Thanks! That makes sense - I forgot to mention that the left-most sidebar / panel is a slide-out navigation, open only to select the next area of the HQ. It won't be open most of the time, so it can afford to be a little bulkier.
I really dig this. My only critique is the drop shadow on the lists feel a little out of place. Maybe a thicker opaque outline would look better with this flat/simple style. Great work!!
@Kyle McConnell - Yeah, I agree it's not perfect - though we tried both in implementation but the drop shadow felt best, especially when it's being dragged above other items. Also, there is a power-select option (multi-select, delete, etc.) not shown - http://cl.ly/NKMg that made more sense for that interaction style.
I agree with @Rogie . It's because the size of the type and icon. My suggestion would be increase the vertical spacing between in submenu below the Product & Themes section so the large feeling will be consistent.
@John Ashenden - Not allowed, hah. Yeah, it's great so far! We've got the bare bones of it working, and I've been planning two upcoming releases with it. Feels good to use your own system! This may or may not be the product of all the frustrations from Grooveshark's "philosophy" for managing releases / tasks / future log of wanted features.

Looks great. Icons could be a bit sharper though (some blurred sides in them) and shadows could be more subtle. :)
