In contrary to what @Bluroon said, I quite like the new "task" tag thingy, as I see that you tried to make it more visible with a thicker bottom border, which is a good move IMO.
I would be careful about the contrast ratios on the navigation though, as they might at some point (depending on the rest of the UI) become too desaturated and virtually invisible.
Other than that, I like the approach you're taking. It seems very intuitive, which in the end is what we strive for, right? :)
Great mixture of styles @Oykun, the excitement of this design is exactly what we felt could be improved :). Also think the nav item titles are much more clear like this (compared to having them in tooltips)
@Yummygum Great to hear that specific feedback about the style mixtures :) I have been trying to achieve combining minimalist style with more in detailed style. I will post more as I design more to keep your excitement fresh :) Thanks,

At weekend, I gave some time to improve the previous design and here is the result. Do you like it any better? I also attached bigger view.
Cheers,
I tweet on Mondays...

yes except the element where you put "task: books to read", love the old one. Over all great design man :)

Agree with @Bluroon there.
I love this design though and I do think it's much better than the previous one. The subtle details on the elements in the header are perfect.

@Erdal Bejtula @Luke Etheridge @Ryno van Niekerk Thanks folks!
@Matthew Morek Thanks mate. I wanted to visualise the task link more clickable. When you click, it goes plain. Thanks for the detailed feedback!
