   This little revival is on one of my favorite pieces of line art from Speedball. I love the illustration as it conjures up thoughts of a hand lettering artist working on a show card in his studio, surrounded with pinned up type specimens.

   I started with a very small black and white illustration and added all the color, paper textures and distress to make it feel like an old piece of ephemera found in the bottom of a drawer.

   Detailed view attached. It's going to become a small poster for my studio as it is a treasure of the past.
