Something that has alway bugged me about fly-out sidebars is that the icon to let it, well, fly-out, moves with the sidebar (if the sidebar slides out from the left, the icon moves to the right, making space for the sidebar), and forces me to move my cursor everytime I want to open and close it. I've always wondered if letting the icon stay in a fixed position, optionally changing colour to match the sidebar, would add to a more user-friendly experience? Just my thoughts. Really liking the look of this though.

That's a great idea, Laurens. Definitely something I'll keep in mind for the future.
This is a touch interface, so there won't be a cursor involved, but I get what you mean. :)
Thanks for the comment!
