Another early concept for a performance improvement tool that focuses on customer feedback and happiness. This concept focuses on the literal performance/balancing act—or show mind you—that the user puts on.
I'm wondering if the right or the left helps communicate the seal a bit better. I'm aware that these still need a good bit of tweaking, but if you have any suggestions feel free to comment!

IMO, in this iteration, the left one communicates the seal better.
Maybe the knocked out area by the fin in the left would help the one on the right?
From farther away, it made me think of the Gimp program logo for some reason. On second glance it also looks like a smile (ball looks like an eye, seal as the smile)
I'm a bit late here (as usual) but love the curves and simplicity of the shapes. I think the left works best, the little indent works beautifully to convey the depth and the fact that it's a flipper. I think that emphasises the seal more clearly than literally showing both flippers and it's also a more effective shape, visually.
