   @Daryl Ginn Ah, very true. It was less a comment on whether they work or not, but more a question if he tried gray and simply decided against it. :)

    @James Veluya the transition from gray to color is not as nice ;) And I don't know why you would make it gray anyway. What does it really mean? Would you expect something inactive to suddenly lose it's color? I think making it transparent makes more sense.
