This is suppose to be an abstract tree. Not sure if this idea has been done before but, certainly had fun making it. Don't know if it will make the cut.
Heyo lookin fresh but I agree with Radoslaw above. Possible solution you may ask? I like the connectivity of it all at the central circle - but maybe just maybe, have the lowest two circles (leaves, what have you) not connect to the central circle.
Anyway - it's awesome if you don't agree with me just cuz your a pretty smart dude.
I like it. It has a lot of covert symbolism. Which is always key.
My only suggestion would be to make it more of a deciduous tree as opposed to a evergreen. I think the linked circles lend itself to represent limbs and leaves as opposed to needles. I may be thinking way too deep about this.
This is great :) although there is something with this "smile" line at the bottom is quite off for me. What do you think? Does it looks good without it or looses the shape/concept?

Like the idea, but in smaller sizes gap between elements are pretty tight.
