After about 6 months I finally came through with my promise to update her site. Admittedly, it was a super rush (2 evenings worth of work this weekend) but I'm pretty stoked with how the new version shaped out. Still some kinks to work through and some interior pages to get to, but overall its a nice refresh for her.
If you'd be so kind, give her some facebook love(errr... like?): http://facebook.com/shootwithlove and better yet, hire her to take your photos ;)
@Josh Hemsley This site is super-beautiful and more importantly, is very feminine and fits perfectly into the photography market.
The only thing I picked up when viewing the live site was that the main body text is not that easy to read. Especially the FAQ section on the homepage. Granted, it may be my eyes though...
I'm a big fan of your wifes photography and I really love the new site design, it brings out her work even better. I love the little animations on the 'latest photoshoots' box and the FAQ on the bottom. Really smart to integrate that on the homepage. If there's one thing I would change, I would give the 'Get in touch' button on top a darker background color, just a bit darker would make the text easier to read imo, something like #59C1C2 maybe. Oh and really digging the simplicity of the blog. Great work, as always!
Really nice website Josh !
Two things I would change : increase the speed of Gallery, don't know why it's so slow... and second, add retina support, it renders absolutely better especially for photography websites ;)

Beautiful site Josh. Designing a site for a partner/relative often adds more pressure than designing for anyone else. :)
Natalie is very talented too. There's some great work there.
