I really like the overall concept, but I didn't notice either mountain or the 'p' until I read yr description. I think that expanding the middle area, so it makes cuts to the rectangle from both sides would help it to be more recognizable, I've quickly mocked what I think of (hope you won't mind) http://cl.ly/image/3u3A442t2C2w, just my loose thoughts, what do you think?
Love how iconic and simple it is. Very subtle, but captures the right feeling. The red color doesn't seem right though. Maybe something a little more airy and fresh feeling?
Interesting concept as a mark. Initially it was clear that the mark was to be a representation of a peak of a mountain top, although I didn't fully notice the "p" representation of it. The typeface seems to work well as it resembles qualities from the mark itself.
The red gives off, energetic and powerful emotions. It seems to read above and beyond, and relates successfully to the concept of the "desire to be at peak".
I think it would be interesting to explore a bigger use of the peak mark, and cut the square in half and play off negative space.
@Kyle Chicoine Glad you like it mate. Yes, i saw that and will post the revised shot very soon.
@Milosz With all due respect, I'm not feeling your revised concept but I really appreciate your input.
@Kevin Thank you so much! Glad to hear you after a long time Kevin. Hope all good at your end. I picked red color coz it relates to Canada and the company based in Canada.
@Nolan Marketti Thank you very much for taking the time to provide your feedback. Will definitely take your input into consideration. Appreciate the insight though.

Every company desires to be at peak. That's the concept that the logo visualizes. The mark incorporates a mount made to look like a 'P'.
More info to come.

I really like the mark. One thing that kind of bothers me is the K. It seems too compressed and not as wide as the PEA letters.

Dig this! I agree with @Kyle Chicoine, the K needs tweaked, but other than that I really like it. Great work.

Ali, check the K in Milosz quick sketch. It seems like a better match.
As far as the concept goes, making the mountain more prolonged doesn't necessarily make it better.
Anyway...Kudos to both :) Nice work as always.
