by the way, how do you make shadows? texture+mask?

@Eugene Artsebasov I would imagine if you search around the web, there is an easier way, but this is how I do it:

    0. I create artwork in Illustrator.
    1. After bringing it into photoshop, on a new layer, I create a black to transparent gradient where I want the shadow/texture to be.
    2. then I go to Filter>Noise>Add Noise and add the most noise possible to the gradient.
    3. Then I go to the blending styles and choose Multiply.
    4. Next I go to Filter>Sharpen>Sharpen More like 5 or 6 times and sharpen the crap out of the noisy gradient.
    5. Then I use the eraser tool to make sure the gradient is the exact shape that I want it.
    6. Then I pull out the sharpen tool and touch up the gradient until I like it.
    7. Finally I press command U and colorize the gradient so that it matches whatever thing it is shading. (for example on this shot: http://dribbble.com/shots/949732-Morning the texture is a bit green).

    That's the recipe!
