Thickening the input lines by 1px might attenuate the confusion from users, I think. I like forms in this style, resembles paper forms, it's not so alienating to non tech savvy people, I think they get it. Would love to see A/B testing results on this.
At first sight the key looks like an magnifier. I bet changing the angle solves it right away :)

Love the clean but it bit confusion as there is no box for the fields (from UX perspective).

@Carlos Sousa Lines put some hints as the bottom of the field. But you know it only for the heavily tech savvy users and still they are confusing.
