Working on a logo for an electric company.
I'm no pro when it comes to negative space but I'm exploring a couple of options here.
Anyone willing to look at it and point out some tips? It would be very much appreciated!
This is just a first digital sketch, it should read 'VERITEC' and it probably reads 'VERITED'
Maybe I can get them to change their name ;)

Yes, Ed's electric...etc, I know. Problem with electricians is, if they want to be recognizable to a wide public, the plug, voltage or lightbulb are always the most obvious choice and for good reason I guess.
I have 2 days to make them a couple of proposals so constructive feedback is welcome.

well, every client comes to you with a problem, but the obvious choice doesn't mean it's the best solution :) If you don't think this is constructive feedback I can delete all
