    Nice job with texturing. I suspect that the black border at the edge will look "off" on the device, though, so you might try making the light leather go all the way to the edge.

    The black border makes the icon more contrast regardless of a device wallpaper.

    @Dmitry Prudnikov Well, no, most of the default icons have light edges because iOS adds a strong shadow around the icon-preserving contrast at the edges just fine. Adding a black border actually reduces contrast, as the icon fades into the shadow rather than popping out from it :)

    What I am worried about with the black border is that it makes the icon look "small" compared to the ones around it.
