Pierre this looks great! I love how its just simple and works! I really like all the work you have displayed on your site, very good choices. I was a bit caught off by the changing hover colours on the top bar tab but I understand why you did it. It's a 50/50 thing for me though haha. also with the hover buttons on the top bar there is a tiny group of pixels that don't change colour in the top right hand corner of each word, it really starts out to me so it might be even more obvious to an employer. The resizing is very good as well. All in All I love it! Great work!
Yeah I just realized that now, I just updated the CSS, it now goes from light grey to white. What do you think ?
Thanks for the feedback ! I've noticed that you haven't posted anything for a while now, meaning that you must have been busy making something.. Whatever it is I am looking forward to seeing it !
That new hover is 10 out of 10! it looks great so subtle but obvious enough! Haha Ive been coding my new website and stepping away from design for a few days to get the code down. my site is up and running now. Im not a developer at all so I'm fairly happy with how it turned out but like everything it could be better haha! I might be start my first major project for a client in the coming days which Im really excited for so I shall keep you updated if all goes ahead!
Developing is a whole different set of skills, it is important to have an understanding of it as a designer, but the best advice I was given was to focus on design (I spent days on projects loosing my mind to some jquery while it would have taken someone else a few hours).
Well, I'm saying this but my next project is an online magazine that I am going to one man, it is super minimal but I am sure that having it how I want in Wordpress will take me ages. (can't wait to work in a studio again where I can do straight design)
Yeah a lot of people have said basically pick a side, design or dev, and I want design defiantly. But yeah i like having a bit of knowledge in dev so it makes me more useful to a team!
that sounds great! Yes I feel the same but I just cant wait to finish uni and get a job at an agency somewhere and design for a living!

My new online portfolio: www.pierrekle.in
The site is still being worked on, it is responsive but still buggy in iOS. I will also add horizontal parallax scrolling for the content.
Please look at the live version, high res or 2x and me know what you think ! I need your feedback !
