A little while ago I started to design my personal portfolio. Which resulted in endless if miserable failures. I don't think I'll ever be happy with any of my portfolio designs. Last night I decided I had to put something online to replace my useless placeholder. I'll be adding design work to the website later on.
I haven't done any HTML/CSS work in years. @Michiel de Graaf gave me some great tips and helped me getting started. Really enjoyed working on coding this site. Definitely going to step up my game in front-end work this year.

Nicely done @Robert van Klinken welcome to the world of RWD :).
This is hot!
Looks good. Need to test your links ;) The "and I tweet" link doesn't have an http:// on it.
@Timothy Whalin Thanks :) Fixed.
P.S. Isn't this more adaptive than responsive? I could never get my head wrapped around these terms.
@Haziq Mir Haha you tell me!
Like! Very stylish
Very nice, but there aren't any examples of your work there. :/
I look forward to seeing more.
Nice work, but maybe a little to gloomy? A subtle color here and there would be better, imo :)
this placeholder site is better than a lot of real sites.
Nice concept here, really love the black/white theme!
Nice n stylish.
Clean & Mean.
I like it.
Really clean website you got there @Robert van Klinken! Nice!
