I like the concept distilled to its pure essence of 'k'. I took a similar approach designing my personal identity mark for Type K about a year and a half ago with the same idea to break the 'k' down to its most basic form and have the 't-y-p-e' form the backbone of the rest of the k. Nice.

@Michal Vasko I agree. I work with a handful of rappers and they don't like simple and clean that much. I'd use the hell out of this logo though if I were Mr. West.
