I'm starting to redesign my blog. Well, kind of a redesign. I'm actually planning on it looking not too disimilar from what it was before, only going forward it's going to be completely hand-crafted in html, css, js. No cms, no databases, no relying on third-parties to not break my site when they push an updated version.
Here is the basics of the homepage. Initially I am very focused on getting the typography right. Simply showing the latest blog post here. Header, post title and content, and the footer.
*View it @2x. You'll get a much better view of it at that resolution

I think you should stick with the green in the header, but consider bringing the lightness value down for the title. This is just an aesthetic detail though, since I'm not a huge fan of bright, over-saturated colors.
Otherwise, not much to say. The spacing is nice and open. It breathes well.
— The line height needs to be bumped up a bit on the paragraphs. Maybe the font size as well. Remember the 45–75 chars per line rule.
— The post title might be a little big.
— I'm not a huge fan of having the header and the post title be the same color.
Thanks guys! I appreciate the feedback. I'll look into fixing these things.
JUst saw the latest version of the site. It's very cool. The things you say there, particularly about the cult of personality in our community, resonate a lot with me, I guess I just never saw them in words before.
