Haha when I saw this I thought, 'I swear he's just updated his site?...' - but yea you're right, we will NEVER be happy with our own site design. We're also always learning so things become old (in style etc) pretty quickly.
I like your site at the moment but out of these two? I'm loving the light one personally.
I don't know who you are, but you're awesome. I've had this same struggle for years, and it's really been recently that I've designed a website I'm sort of happy with, and even now I'm still adding features to it, but at least it's up there. Love the Light and Dark versions, this reminds me of an idea I had back in 2011, which involved changing to my dark theme when the clock hit a certain time, it was some fun javascript, and I'm glad to see someone has done something similar

As a designer it is an eternal struggle ever becoming happy about your own website. For me it has been a one year struggle.
Check out the Light version and the Dark version.

Looks great! Only, you will have to be careful to what you're tweeting. You're giving such a lot of importance!

Looks good. I don't even have a website purely for that reason. You're your own worst critic.

+1 for the eternal struggle.

How about merging "About" and "Contact" into one page?

They both looks great! But can you tell us how you're planning showing your work? Those thumbnails are your dribbble shots, right?
Don't you guys feel the need to give more detailed info about your work for prospective clients?
Also: @Oykun Wins best comment! :D
