Here are two switches- one of them in the 'off' state, and the other in the 'on' state.
What does everyone think? This is my first attempt at designing switches and I'd love some feedback.

Cool, I like the colors, but I think the strokes look odd on the text. would also make that on color different. looks off in some manor. None the less good work!

@Mike Moloney , I used the stroke to make the text stand out a little bit. I do see what you mean about it looking odd, though. I also see what you meant when you said the on button looks 'off'. Thanks for the feedback!

The shadows are a bit harsh (under the toggle). If anything needs a subtle stroke to create a hard edge, I would say its the toggle not the text. I would also remove the glow around the text. Lastly, the inset for the toggle/slider is not centered and it seems as though the radii are off.
Overall, I think this looks great so I wouldn't worry too much but there is room for improvement.

@Taurean - as for the toggle, I'll definitely reduce that drop shadow. I can remove the glow from the text as well. as far as the dimensions, everything is centered and identical believe it or not. I think it's the shadows that kind of throws everything off.

Nice toggles!!! I love them. I agree with @Taurean a good deal. I also think the bright green you have there is a bit strong on the eyes and somewhat clashes with the other colors. I love it alone though. Maybe try making that a light mint green (a lighter color than the background).
You might also want to make the 1px drop shadow at the bottom of the base that the toggles are sitting in just a lighter color than the color of your background. It shouldn't really be a pure white/light light gray. Try it out and let me know what you think!
