I'm pretty excited about CLOSE's "flipping" timeline. Main idea of not being able to swipe through the feed is done to slow us down a bit from constant flow of random information, and let us focus on what our loved ones have to say.
So here's a thought for a business card design I had. Make it look like opened vertically flipable book with a little bit of die cutting on each corner, still keeping standard 2x3.5 size. Perhaps even do a little bit of embossing to show more dept on pages (I know it will conflict with the back side a bit but it might just work)
Back side of the card will have similar feel to profile screen I've posted earlier.
Anyway, let me know what you guys think. Any ideas, thoughts, suggestions are appreciated. :)
@Grant McAllister thank you, it's should be ready soon. As far as flipping goes, I guess I was thinking if people can see an opened book they will automatically think that it's flippable.
@Eddie Lobanovskiy you’re killing us, 3rd consecutive day that you’re #1 in the highlights. Leave some for the rest of us mortals. (P.S. great work, keep it up.)
@Eddie Lobanovskiy Those cuts will have to be really precise for the design to be viable though no? In my experience, designs this intricate causes a lot of problems with diecuts...
Stunning idea! Rather than the emboss you could always letterpress some of the elements to get some depth and texture without impacting on the reverse side of the design.

I really like the idea and concept, it's a beautiful piece of interaction. I'm not sure how users will know to flip though
I can't wait to take a look at the app :)

Killer indeed bra! You can use two cards for printing and then glued together so an embossed side won't conflict with the back side).

looks killer!, like the idea but have to say the embossing (although would add some nice dimensions) would probably hinder the overall result
