I feel like select boxes for quantity are uninspired. And the +/- buttons can be kind of cumbersome. Trying to come up with something that solves the same problems a little more elegantly.
I feel ya. I have a love/hate relationship with select lists. But, as uninspiring as they are, they do work and people know how to use them. Especially if your talking a max of 30 items.
@Matt Vasquez I feel ya. I want to do something better, but the cognitive load on first-look is too great.
@Jonathan Shariat I had thought about a slider, but they sometimes feel like too much manual work to control to me. I'm trying to create something elegant where I can see how many are available to me and submit the number I want in one, effortless action. I also want it to kind of invite selecting more than 1.

What about a smart slider that goes from 1 - X (Where X is the max amount)

Why not just a field? Why have the 1,2,3 buttons?
