I was so very inspired by @Glenn Thomas' lovely shot today (http://drbl.in/gJUt), using @Ryan Putnam's famous woodgrain pattern (you can download heaps more incredible resources from his site Vector Mill).
So I thought I might have a crack at creating one of my own; just to add to the fray. You can download it here: http://dvclmn.com/woodgrain/woodgrain.zip
Also feel free to follow me on Twitter, or share this pattern with your design friends.

This is awesome, thanks! Check your download link though, you've got "/com" instead of ".com" :)
Ah, thanks @Mark! Fixed!
Great stuff, thank you!
Awesome! Thanks for sharing this with us Dave.
Thank you Dave.
That's really great. I'll try out and see what it looks like on my latest logo design. Currently it has my own wood grain design.
This is wonderful! What font did you use for "woodgrain pattern"?
So sweet. Thanks Dave!
This is sooo epic!!!!
@Derrick Kempf Looks to be Brandon Grotesque Black with a stroke added
Thanks @Matt. I thought it might be but wasn't sure.
@Dave Coleman Thanks!
@Mathias Temmen @David Elliott @Adam Rossi @Joe Cavazos @Andres Jasso @Caleb Amesbury @Josh Maynard @Nick Slater @Gavin Thompson - Huge thanks to you! It's my pleasure.
@Paul Morel - Oh great! I can't wait to see what it looks like - let me know when it's up :)
@Derrick Kempf @Matt Lawson - The bold type is actually Neutra, and the script is Satisfy. But Brandon is beautiful - you've introduced me to a new font!
Yes please & thank you!
