Not really a fan of iTunes UI for Windows though it is my favorite player, so I come up with this design last Sunday and spent my day doing this. Check the full view attached. Inspired by flat and metro style.
Finally a pro member so I decided to giveaway the PSD
Visually I like it remind me of Rdio, and I suppose it works. But if I were a user nothing about this interface excites me... It lacks interest. That's the problem with this 'flat' design trend or what I would more properly describe as minimal design. It's like looking at a black and white newspaper when we have full colored glossy magazines to choose from, which one do you think the user would pick up and read?
@Hazel M., thanks for the honest input. I think it depends on the buyer, some buyer wether it is black/white or glossy etc., they'll buy the one with great contents and other factors. And not sure if we can label flat design as black and white, maybe a 2D style :)
Nice. I really like flat design. I think it is very visually appealing. The only part that reminds me of Rdio is the volume toggle/play/pause area because they both use flat ui. @Hazel M.Just because you throw a bunch of drop shadows, 3d images, gloss, and colors all over a page, does not mean someone is going to pick it up a read it. Sometimes you want the content to shine instead of everything else around it. Flat design can be full of color as well so comparing it to a b&w newspaper makes no sense imo.

Looks nice, reminds me of the Rdio interface, but maybe that's just because of the subtle blue highlights.
Thx for the PSD!

@Stan Peters Welcome, saw the Rdio interface, I'm not sure if they're very similar except on blue and white scheme :)
