@Dan Eden haha! actually there is no ugly or beautiful in this, after all it is just to put your ideas down. and yes I wanna see your sketches mate. I see your Field Notes everywhere but the inside of it :)
Cool stuff man! I love seeing sketches and designer's process in general.
The bottom middle one has a different vibe from all the other ones - it resembles me of Projecteo a little bit.
@Kyee I don't have Wacom. Maybe I will give it a try some day, however I do enjoy spending time with pencil and paper : ) Do you have wacom? Would you recommend any model?
I really like the top one in the middle. Keep playing off of that, try looking at 4x5 and 8x10 camera lenses they have so much character and I haven't seen much of their style utilized in camera icons.
If you are not already accustomed to a Wacom, I definitely suggest a Cintiq. They are pretty pricey, but probably the best of the line. It can also be used as a second display (kind of)...
In any case, though these are "quick" they look really good...sketches are always fave bait. :)

I made few quick, ugly and very basic sketches for an app with morning coffee today. It will be plain and simple. no shadows, no 3D look ,etc...
It has been a while since I opened my sketchbook to Dribbble, so wanted to share this.
Attached bigger view.
Cheers,
@oykun

Edit: I'm gonna share detailed sketches as well maybe later :) This is more like brainstorming rough lines on paper...

I always like to see sketches, it really gives a better insight to how a designer comes up with their end product

Do you not find it time consuming not to just do sketches in photoshop with wacom?
