New frontpage I've been working on for the last couple of days, now using a blurred picture of the wall in our office here in Berlin. I'm not sure about text color contrast, nor about the color transition between top bar and background image. Please hit me with suggestions.

The problem is the light behind the "Track" and "footprint", it's too heavy. Like all the rest much.
The top bar color seems just fine! I'd use a different color for the Get archify button though.
As for the text - white seems great, so I see the solution being panning arround the backgroung image until you see an area that just works.
Other than that I can hit you with some links on some cool blurred background page examples - This one, and this one.
Oh! And another suggestion: On the screen where you show the App's screenshot, try not to show everything all at once... show just a little bit of the UI to entice the shit out of everybody! ;)
Very good points, Sam! I'll spend some time panning the background image in order to keep the text color, and will sketch a few more suspense-friendly shots instead of rolling out the whole UI at once :) Thanks for your great feedback, once again!
