For this new installment of the animal skull series, I give you a gray wolf skull.

As usual, done with Sketchbook Pro on an iPad 2, with a Wacom Bamboo stylus.

So, I was supposed to start on the horse skull, but I put the wrong reference under my eyes, started drawing, and then realized it once I was deep into the shape blocking.

Dude, I wouldn't attach such hi-res art. Some shithead might steal that, toss it into a tee design and try to sell it to some band or something.

@Tom True. But I'd rather also not be paranoid. These posts here are dated, the process is documented, and we're working on print sets. So, I don't think I'd have any problems proving I'm the one who designed/drew it first.

That makes sense, but you might never even know about it, you know? I see so-called "designers" sell designs to local bands and they're selling art that doesn't belong to them. There's a local band here that has a tee design that features a old burnt house from a pretty well-known series of photographs. So, some dude got paid to take someone else's photo add a band name to it and call it a day. The original photographer will probably never see it or have any idea that someone else is profiting off of his work.

I mean, there's no way to prevent that shit from happening entirely, but I'd still take precautions whenever possible. It's nice to see your detailed shot, though. Brilliant work. Sorry for ranting on your page.
