I agree with @Fabe regarding the icons - they look at about 10% or so right now whereas I think something like 40-50% would be better suited.
The other thing - it may just be me but is it not a little too plain? I absolutely love simple too but I'm not sure if a potential client would have enough info, or be fulfilled enough to email you for work. Unless that's not the focus of the site of course.
Also, have you thought about a neat way of displaying your work? Maybe black and white inactive and color on hover? I'm not sure how many people will know enough about Dribbble to click on the icon for examples of your work? Again, if that's not really what the site's for I apologise, but you're a great designer with work to shout about.
On a more positive note - that type face works perfectly! ;)
@Luke Etheridge .. Thanks for the feedback dude. really appreciate the time you have invested.
I have tweaked the icon opacity. a little darker now.
The focus of the site is not all about attracting clients.. at the moment anyway... I have been investigating methods of displaying my work for a while.. still working on that.. havent found method that i really like just yet.
I understand about the focus of the site and I thought that might be the case. I also agree that the whole displaying of your work is a hard thing to get right (photos vs. screen shots etc.).
Dude, another job well done. The site is so clean and simple. I think the brand mark looks a bit like "alux" because of how the "e" attaches to the "x". You could play with connecting the "e" to the bottom of the "x" as well. Still lovely though.

Really nice, Alex. You may increase the contrast of the social icons, I am not quite sure if they'll be visible on every screen. Good work though ;)

@Alex Vanderzon no worries bud! Just my 2 cents really.
Icons look great how they are now.
