Client liked the penguin element but had a feeling that it covers only the "cooling" part of the message so we've decided to cover the "heating" part inserting the sun in it.

Nice Allen thanks that you use my penguin http://dribbble.com/shots/892568-Penguin in their mark.
@Communication Agency please, don't be ridiculous...
I am serious. Please look structure and simplicity of my pengiun design and head looking up and then yours. Nothing else.
It's the natural stance of the penguin and, I mean, hm, they do look like this, yah know.
@Communication Agency - fyi: its racist to say all penguins look alike. I'd be willing to bet that more than one of your simpler icons could be misinterpreted as infringing on another's idea. Unfortunately, when you're creating basic icons, you're bound to step on some toes, but you surely weren't the first to reduce a bird to its most basic elements... Leave the poor guy alone.
@Alen I like the simplicity of this mark. I hope your penguin gets his glory day in the sun.
@Alen Type08 Pavlovic Excellent concept buddy.
@Communication Agency may I point out that this famous penguin mark looks awesome http://vimeo.com/penguinbooks yours is looking rather flat and could do with depth.
@Alen Type08 Pavlovic yours looks nothing like the other. Pffff and who cares. Nice work
great combo @Alen Type08 Pavlovic
And @Communication Agency come on man, you can't claim to own a rights to a penguin graphic, even if you were the first (which your not) to use it in a design. P L E A S E come on.
there are no problems imho regarding the peng shape ... waiting for some specialist claiming the sun .... great work Alen ...
So good, spot on.
I like this one much much better than the last! Nice job.
ps. I can't believe you used orange, can't you see MY logo is orange!?! How dare you :)
@Jason Carter @Roko Kerovec @Damian Kidd @Mike Bruner @TAS @Epic Design & Media @Mike Krisza thank you all guys for sharing your opinion on this but it is so obvious that the whole thing is a total blasphemy that even without any comments Pavel would turn out ridiculous. That's the man behind the name Communication Agency, a dude who I met at LogoPond and who pinged me before all this dozens of times offline to help him with logo ideas and concepts or even send him some work. I always took time to review all his work and messages and now he turns the ball this way. The accusation itself is something that I would probably just sleep over and call it a glitch in the matrix, but him doing a new post with his mark (not even original but adjusted for this whole show now, the eye element for example) is something that I call a "red card" outcome. AKA my Communication channel towards him is now closed forever. What a character...
Alen i check my email you never send me work. You review my work thats right and we speak about design and logos and examples. And i was greatfull for that.
Alen no offens i didnt turn against you i just said that design of my and your penguin are really similar in this logo. What wrong on that. Nothing else. I can have oppinion!
A ja te nisam nikad vredjao!!
I really like it!
about similarities... huh it is a tough thing... we could say that penguin looks like this one too:: http://static.guim.co.uk/sys-images/BOOKS/Pix/pictures/2011/11/16/1321460565875/Penguin-Books-logo-007.jpg but I cant see the problem ;)
great job again, congrats!
Nice combo (sun and penguin) I have to admit :)
He will catch color.
I liked the initial C concept. Pity your client didn't like it.
For this one I didn't see the penguin in the thumbs. I saw a sideview bird's head and neck opening its huge mouth. But yes I do see the penguin now and the style and development here is much more versatile that the previous penguin.
And tell CA to just fuck off. Its not the first time he's opened his senseless mouth. And not just to you either.
Hi @Alen Type08 Pavlovic I like this too! A more "logical" choice for a logo.
@Communication Agency I don't know you or your work so I'm not going to judge you by this thread alone. But looking at Alan's penguin and yours all they have in common is that they are both penguins...from the side. That's it. Get over it.
yep nice :)
@Julius Seniūnas @Jason Feltz thanks guys!
@Jovan Petrić yup, free tanning treatment for him! :)
@Norman Chan thanks bud! That logo already found a new home so you will definitely see it around :) Who is CA? ;)
@Suzie Creamcheese thanks girl!
@Florin Capota thanks mate!
Nice mark Alen.
@Ivan Bobrov thank you buddy!
